good case. August 19, 2010 salomon colombia this case is good; as soon as you put it in place it stays there unless you pop it back off. the only thing I noticed is that on the image it shows that it would cover the screen, but the cover I got doesn't. Besides that, everything's good.
Great case July 31, 2010 K. Hurlston (Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands) I ordered this case and it fits my phone perfectly. Not only is this case very sleek, but it's also functional. It's a bit difficult to open once you snap it shut on your phone but this problem is easily resolved by using your fingernail and sort of working it in the crevices until the case releases and unsnaps. There is no need for you to break this case to open it once it has been placed on your phone! I often receive compliments on how nice this case looks.
Very nice to look at, if only it wasn't defective! July 20, 2010 L. Ricardo (Miami, Fl) I bought this and as soon as I received it went ahead and put it on my phone. It looked great and then I quickly noticed the upper left strap was broken and would not grasp on. Basically this rendered the product useless. What a waste of my time and it might be a waste of yours as well. Buyer beware!
Real good Clear case July 14, 2010 Urshino this phone case for the Blackberry Curve 8530, fits very well, it does feel Fragile but did its job, the item I recieved did include a built-in screan guard...so I was glad of the purchase!
Does the jerb well July 6, 2010 Deerpadeea 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this thing because I knew that I would probably drop this phone and expose it to things that could scratch it. The case does a great job at protecting against such scratches and drops. The case is also smooth, which means that it slides easily into and out of my pocket, as opposed to a silicone case. The price is right. Buy a couple of these while you have the chance. A few downsides that can be dealt with rather easily: If you are the kind of person who needs to do a battery pull/hard reset often, you should probably open and close this case a few times before you put it on the phone so that it is easy to get it off when you need it off, as it is quite hard to get off the first time. Do not pull too hard; just jiggle the case around the hinges until they loosen. You could also very lightly sand down the hinges so that they are easier to open. Another problem is that the edges of the keyboard are harder to access when the case is on. This requires either a change in your typing style or a modification of the case like I have done. I took a Dremel cutting wheel and cut back the case around the keyboard and then used a sanding wheel to smooth it out. You could also do this with an X-Acto-style knife and medium grit sandpaper. In any case, this modification made it just as easy to type with the case on as it is without the case. Also, if you have a lot of pocket lint or dust in your life it can get stuck under the case. I recommend periodically taking the case off to clean around it. One downside that is not as easy to overcome is that the case will take on all of the scratches that would be conveyed to the device itself and therefore, gradually begins to lose its crisp clear appearance. It does look tough, however, and you could deal with this by putting stickers on your case. I still recommend it highly and you should buy several.
