 Good product, installed easier than expected August 31, 2010

I was skeptical about this product when I first purchased it. But, the product fit my phone perfectly, it went on easier than I expected, and after a couple of days all of the bubbles were gone. It has proven to be a tough and durable screen protector. I have no reservations recommending it.

I read the reviews and figured I wouldn't have any problems putting this on, especially since I have a lot of patience with things like this. I followed the instructions... pushed out all the visible air, etc. 12 hours later I was ready to put the battery back in and inspect my work and immediately became upset when I found over a half dozen bubbles had formed, some close to 1 cm in size. How could I have ruined it when it looked so nice when I put it on?
But a day later - about 36 hours after putting it on - the bubbles had disappeared. Other reviews said not to worry about the bubbles, but I assumed that meant "right after putting it on" and not 12-18 hrs later, when the instructions said it was okay to use it again. I must have missed the final part of the instructions that said imperfections will go away "in a few days". The moral of the story: Give it time and they should go away like they did for me.
I am now very happy with the results.

I tried three other screen protectors for my Palm before I got this one. The others wouldn't stay on more than a few days before they started peeling off. Skinomi's product sticks and stays stuck. It's been over a month now and no sign of failure yet.

The Skinomi TechSkin seems a bit over-hyped, but comparing it to friends' protective coverings, it's quite a bit more substantial, clean looking and I have to believe, durable. It's a bit tricky to install, but with a bit of patience, it comes out beautifully. Quite an impressive little product all in all!
