The speakers are of very good quality, for both classic and contemporary music. Quite remarkable for their size.
I don't like the remote control, which needs to be pointed at the speakers for them to work properly.
All in all, I recommend these speakers.

I purchased this after extensive research and it lives up to the great reviews. I love that it won't charge your phone/ipod unless it's plugged in--it won't drain its own batteries in that way. The sound is great and I've been very happy!

I saw this first at Best Buy. The salesman there said that it would fill 2000 sq. feet. Not so much. I have a big office, and at full volume, it is adequate, but not much beyond that. I kept thinking I was using it incorrectly, but after reading the instructions, evidently not. When the singer drops his/her voice, you can barely hear it even when one is one or two feet away.
As for ease of use and convenience, it couldn't be better. But the volume issues mean that I can't use it for presentations and large groups, as I was planning. (Actually not even medium sized groups. If they can't fit into my office, they won't hear it.)

Took it to the beach, the music sounded great and the battery lasted all day. Well worth a look if you want a good portable speaker system.

The thin, plastic cover button for power began cracking after a year and snapped off recently. Can still reach in with a pencil or finger and punch the button but wouldnt buy this again. We also own a previous version of this item, the 50MM, much more solidly built, including the controls, not as slick but 5 years older with no problems. As to performance, fine for the money, the remote is weak, irritatingly ineffective.
