 Cheap plastic pieces break way, way too easily September 9, 2010

The only useful things in this pack are the suction cup and screw drives which are worth a combined $1, if that. The plastic pieces, which are the only thing the ipod touch really needs, broke pretty much on contact with the ipod. They were not helpful at all and now I have to go buy replacements. This time I will learn and get metal ones or better constructed plastic ones. Only good thing I can say is that shipping was fast since I choose next day air.

It's not easy to open up an ipod and fix something yourself. Costs a lot more to ship it off for repair but it might be cheaper in the long run. These little plastic tools break easily. The little screwdrivers and suction cup is fine but they are useless without the plastic tools to open up the ipod. No matter how good you think you are at this type of detail work, the plastic tools are no good.

It's useful only for iPhone. For my iPod I didn't use it at all. I was unuseful for my iPod Touch. It's cheap, but for the iPod it's unuseful

I recently replaced my son's LCD screen on his Macbook; Apple is too expensive. It's a straightforward repair ~1 hour; the small screwdrivers that come in this set were very handy to have. I didn't use some of the other items but its worth the few bucks to have these.
